Welcome to Keepers Lodge Clay Shoot

Keepers Lodge Clay Shoot is situated in Llanishen, 7 miles from the towns of both Monmouth and Chepstow. The shooting ground is located on a working dairy farm in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

Set among established trees and a natural stream the dedicated shooting area has been specially landscaped to create a flexible and adaptable environment suitable for all abilities.

We welcome members and non-members to our fortnightly open shoot held on a Sunday morning click here for dates. We also create bespoke shoots for private groups such as corporate events and stag/hen parties, tailored to the specific abilities of the group.

Keepers Lodge Clay Shoot has full public liability insurance and is annually inspected by the Fire Arms Officer from Gwent Police.

Fortnightly Open Shoot

A public shoot is held fortnightly which is open to both members and non-members. These shoots are held on a Sunday from 10am with the last card being available at 11.30pm. Stands are regularly changed to ensure even seasoned shooters are kept on their toes. Click here for upcoming dates.

Private Shoots

We arrange private shoots for groups such as corporate events, stag and hen parties designed for the specific abilities of your group. From complete beginners to experienced shooters are arranged for

Equipment

Shooters are of course welcome to bring their own guns. Cartridges are available to be purchased upon display of a current firearms licence. Only felt wad cartridges are permitted for use. We recommend that ear and eye protection is worn whilst shooting.

Refreshments

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and confectionery can be purchased. Barbeques and breakfast rolls can be catered for on request. Alternatively Keepers Lodge Clay Shoot is located next to the Carpenters Arms where hot and cold food is available as well as excellent accommodation.
